Mosi'ing Around the World

Merry, Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Fair warning, this post got a bit out of hand... I realized while writing about our wedding I never wrote about our engagement, so this is kind of the whole shebang in one blog post. It is 10 years in the making after all :) Thank you for reading and following along! It truly was the best day ever for Justin & I 💙 November 4th, 2018

But first, the Hawaiian adventure continues... Justin and I decided to extend Hawaii a few days to catch a nonstop flight to Fiji, otherwise the flight has multiple layovers and takes 30+ hours. So, Alicia, Justin, and I flew to the Big Island to spend a few days in Kona. Very few beaches around Kona, and super rocky but beautiful! Flying into Kona I definitely realized what other people had said in that the Big Island looks very different from Kauai and Maui... less lush and rockier. Parts of it honestly looked like Mars - especially towards the south end of the island, but still very beautiful and Hawaiian!

Aloha!  After almost a year and a half of planning this trip it's still a little surreal to me I'm actually writing about Maui. These are some of Justin's and my favorite moments from the week outside of the wedding day - I'll write a separate post on that :) Maui was everything we hoped that it would be a so much more... definitely a trip we will remember for the rest of our lives.

It seems it's time for another adventure :) Justin and I have planned a very small wedding ceremony in Maui, but we were sent off on October 13th in the most wonderful, heart-bursting way. A HUGE thank you to Lida and Robby, you truly created an absolutely perfect evening for us that was straight out of a magazine. The moment Justin and I stepped out of the car we were blown away by how beautiful everything was, and we know so much love was put into creating this event for us (and hard work!). It's a day we will remember for the rest of our lives (especially knockerball for Justin haha). Thank you, thank you to everyone who traveled near and far to celebrate our upcoming wedding with us! We love each and every one of you so much. First things first... we started the day off with KNOCKERBALL!!
